IT Project Manager

The IT Project Manager is responsible for ensuring the effectiveness of our project delivery, to ensure that the technology and solutions that PAV delivers is fit for purpose and aligned to customer requirements. This includes management of a portfolio of works.

As the Project Manager you will take pride in the monitoring, measurement and delivery of effective key performance indicator (KPI), critical success factors (CSF), quality assurance (QA) metrics in relation to the products and services we provide. You will take immediate action in recognising and addressing potential issues in delivery of project scope.

Acting as an ambassador for PAV i.t services you will be working closely with our customers in supporting their technical road maps, working with the PAV technical and project delivery teams to deliver high quality and sustainable IT solutions to resolve a myriad of everyday IT challenges.

  • PAV i.t services are IT solutions provider with expertise in the design, implementation and support of complex IT infrastructures. 

  • Supporting both internal and external customers (excess 150 clients) · Handling service support requests, incidents and changes.

  • Supporting a wide range of technologies from managed services to virtualisation to backup and recovery solutions. 

Main Responsibilities

  • Ensure Service level agreements (SLA) Key performance indicators (KPI) and critical success factors (CSF) are visible, delivered, monitored and reported in accordance to our contracted service schedules.

  •  Management of customer conflict resolution to ensure customer fairness, support and service delivery. 

  •  To align our project management processes and procedures to industry standards wherever appropriate.

  • Create and deliver project work plans and revise as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements.

  • Work with the Service Operations Manager to identify resources and assign responsibilities.

  •  Manage day-to-day operational aspects of the project(s).

  •  Ensure project documents are complete, current, and appropriately stored.

  •  Work closely with relevant stake holders to ensure effective and efficient implementation of the project(s).

  •  Understand basic revenue models and P/L; meet financial objectives by forecasting requirements; scheduling expenditures; analysing variances and initiating corrective actions.

  • Work with PAV technical teams to define and document questions, liaise with business via email, IM or phone to get new requirements and explain feasibility.

  •  Submit project status reports to stakeholders.

  • Form close working relationship with Sales Team and Account Managers, briefing them on project progress etc

  • Have an awareness of potential commercial opportunities during project activities

Job Context

  • You will have experience and exposure in the following areas:

  • Customer facing experience in the delivery and support of project based activities

  • Experience in utilising project management tools to administration level.   

  •  Professional and timely production of mission critical internal and customer reports for projects.

  • Great communication, documentation and people skills.


Due to the nature of the role you may be required from time to time to work out of hours and on occasions from other locations, such times will include client service visits and project based work that may require service introduction warranty periods necessitating additional support.
