Here's how PAV IT Services has evolved over the years...

From 1988 as Pavilion Computing in Brighton, we've grown to 40+ employees across the country. Here's the key milestones...

1988 › ESTABLISHMENT
1988

Company formed Michael J Borissow and Paul G Jenkins.

Initially operating from offices in Brighton on the South Coast of England the Company grew quickly by servicing a mainly local customer base.

1992

During the late eighties and early nineties there was a shift away from centralised computing to affordable PC based networks.
Trading as Pavilion Computing we were enabling its customers to take advantage of the personal computing platforms through supply, implementation and support services.  13 members of staff operating out of the Brighton Office with revenues in excess of £1M

1995

Moved to larger premises in Sayers Common, West Sussex, enabling us to service a larger and growing customer base and employ more staff

1996

One of the first in the UK to offer business class Internet services over leased line and ISDN.  Hosted solutions (then known as ASP) added to our
service portfolio ranging from specific applications to complete IT Infrastructure as a Service for our clients

2002

Change of name to PAV i.t., reflecting our emergence from being a purely local, Brighton based organisation to one serving a wider geographical base and extended services allowing customers to manage, deploy and expand network infrastructures.  In addition to core networking and server operating system expertise from the mainstream vendors such as Microsoft, Cisco, HP and VMware etc, two further specialist areas of security and data management were developed. These two revenue streams added specialist skills in some niche technologies such as CommVault, Fortinet, TippingPoint & Mimecast as well as a number of storage vendors. The skills around these technologies and vendors have introduced PAV to a number of enterprise customers

2010

Business restructured to provide services in 3 key areas:  Support Services, Project Services and Cloud – modular support services that respond to customer needs.  Proven delivery framework enables project based activities to be clearly defined, planned and executed for delivery by PAV engineering or customer resource.

End to end cloud hosting portfolio from UK based data centres offers a trusted and secure private cloud platform as well as mainstream public cloud

2018

Company has grown to more than 40 staff in the UK based out of Sussex and Leeds with a further sales office in London.
